A Collection of Beatles Oldies But Goldies! is a Beatles compilation album releases by Parlophone records in the U.K. and Australia in December of 1966. If featured a selection of some of the Beatles most popular songs from 1963 to 1966. It was available in both mono (PMC 7016) and stereo (PCS 7016) versions.

This album came about due to a lack of new Beatles material for the Christmas season in 1966. The Beatles had released their Revolver album in August and had just entered the studio to begin recording what would be their masterpiece, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in early December.

The album featured only one previously unreleased track, the Beatles cover of Bad Boy by Larry Williams. Though the song has been released in the U.S. on the Beatles VI album, this was the first time the song had seen publication in the U.K.

The album, with over 40 minutes of music was their longest release to date, met with muted, but consistent successes. Though it only reached #6 in the U.K. sales charts (pretty much everyone had all these songs already) its sales were steady as it was a very good collection of songs and so it stayed in print up until the advent of CDs.

This album is also noteworthy for boasting the first, and in some cases unique, stereo versions.
