Beatlemania! With The Beatles, the first of four Beatles albums prepared and sold especially for the Canadian market, has the honor of being the first Beatles album ever in North America. This was due largely to the indifference of Capitol Records (US) to the music of the "Fab Four," causing a long delay between the time the Beatles made their breakthrough in the UK and the widespread distribution of their material in the US. Released on November 26, 1963 by Capitol Canada, this album has exactly the same track list and mixes as the monaural version of the Beatles' second UK album, With The Beatles. Eventually a stereo version was made available as well.
