On June 14, 1965, six months after the release of Beatles '65, Capitol started distributing Beatles VI, the seventh Capitol release of the Beatles in the US, and the ninth US LP (counting Vee-Jay's pioneering issue and UA's soundtrack of A Hard Day's Night. Two of the songs on this album were made just for the US market, the only time this occurred. They were both covers of Larry Williams tunes: Bad Boy and Dizzy Miss Lizzy. The latter made its way into the UK release of Help!, but the other came out in the UK only on a compilation album in 1966. The other songs included on the album were the six tracks postponed from Beatles for Sale when Capitol released Beatles '65 plus Yes It Is (the b-side of Ticket to Ride) and two songs that were to be issued on the UK version of Help! (You Like Me Too Much and Tell Me What You See). Early pressings listed the medley as simply "Kansas City" but later it was corrected to show the full name, Kansas City / Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey.
