Reel Music
When the film, A Hard Day's Night, was re-released in 1982, Capitol and Parlophone put together a Beatles compilation album of songs from their four films (Help!, A Hard Day's Night, Yellow Submarine (an animation), and Let It Be!). The first day of sale was March 22, 1982 in the US and the next day in the UK. Though the tracks could all be found amongst previous Beatles records, the US public was able to buy stereo versions of some of the songs for the first time, for example: I Am The Walrus, Ticket to Ride and A Hard Day's Night. In I Should Have Known Better, Lennon makes a slip on the harmonica. For the first and only time, this song was released with that goof resolved. A promo single was also produced and distributed, including a medley of music from the LP and I'm Happy Just to Dance with You on the flip side. This song did come out in the film of A Hard Day's Night, but was left off the Reel Music LP.
