The reissue was released in both the U.S. and the U.K. (US LP: Capitol SN-16020; UK LP: EMI/Music for Pleasure MFP 50506).
Rock 'n' Roll Music, Vol. 1 contains stereo remixes George Martin rather than the fake stereo issued in the U.K. on the original 1976 double-album.
The reissue contains new, and better, album art of the band on their arrival in America. The U.S. version features a crowd in the background while the U.K. version doesn't.
