Yellow Submarine Songtrack
Yellow Submarine Songtrack was released in 1999 as a complete soundtrack of the film, Yellow Submarine. Unlike the 1969 soundtrack album, which included only six of the film's sixteen songs, plus the George Martin film score, the 1999 version includes all the Beatles songs that actually appeared in the film with the exception of A Day in the Life. The songs were all complete re-mixes from the four- and eight-track tapes from which the original recordings were made. For this reason, variations of the songs as performed in the film itself are not found on the album. The album performed well in the UK, US and other markets, peaking at 15 in the US and at 8 in the UK charts.
