Andy White
Andy White replaced Ringo Starr as drummer on Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You on September 11, 1962 as producer George Martin didn't think RIngo had sufficient experience in the studio at the time and was unhappy with Ringo's drumming during first session with the band. Andy White was an experienced studio drummer who had worked with EMI in the past and was considers a safer bet than a second session with Ringo as the decision had been made that Love Me Do would be the band's first release and, in as much, needed to be top quality.
