Glad All Over is a Carl Perkins song, written by Aaron Schroeder, Sid Tepper, and Roy Bennett in 1957. Carl Perkins recorded it on the Sun label and the Beatles covered it. On the Beatles version, George Harrison sings lead vocals. It was recorded twice, both times in 1963 for the BBC radio programs. One of those recordings was made public in the 1994 album, Live at the BBC. The other is only available through bootlegs. This song is not the same as one released by the Dave Clark Five in January of 1964, also called Glad All Over, which displaced I Want to Hold Your Hand from the number one spot in the UK charts.
