  • Ray Charles wrote Hallelujah I Love Her So in 1956. It was also a hit in 1960 in a release by Eddie Cochran. The Beatles covered the song in their performance repertoire and recorded it, together with a few other songs, in Paul's home in Liverpool, some time early in 1960. This recording became available in 1995 on the Anthology 1 disc. Stu Sutcliffe is on bass. There is no drummer. Another recording of this song exists from the Beatles' concert in Hamburg (at the Star-Club) on December 31, 1962. No studio recordings exist.
