What has come to be known as the "Jazz Piano Song" sprang to life during the Let It Be sessions during a bit of down time. Paul and Ringo play a fast stride piano number which was included in the "Let It Be" documentary. Paul plays the bass notes and Ringo plays the high notes. It was a light-hearted moment in what were often tense sessions that in many respects represented the beginning of the end of the group. The Jazz Piano Song was recorded in January of 1969.
