Lend Me Your Comb is a composition by Kay Twomey, Fred Wise and Ben Weisman. Carl Perkins sang it originally. It was the b-side to his Glad All Over (1956). The Beatles recorded it on July 2, 1963 in the BBC's Maida Vale studios for the fifth edition of Pop! Go the Beatles. John and Paul shared the lead vocals.
It was never released during the time the Beatles were together, and it ultimately came out on the Anthology 1 album in 1995.
The Beatles sang Lend Me Your Comb during their Hamburg days. It can be heard in the album, The Beatles Live At the Star-Club in Hamburg Germany; 1962.
